The 38 Special isn’t the most powerful cartridge you can tuck into a revolver. But good aim, which you can only develop with good practice, does much to compensate for that. If you’d like to become more proficient with your 38 Special revolver – or enjoy lower recoil while you’re spinning the cylinder on your 357 Mag – then Ammo Inc. has just made exactly what you want!
This cartridge has a total metal jacket projectile. Like the more common FMJ, the TMJ has a solid copper alloy jacket which makes it most suitable for target shooting. The TMJ’s jacket is different because it additionally encompasses the base of the projectile, shielding it throughout ignition. This prevents the release of vaporized lead right next to the shooter’s face, which you might imagine has certain health benefits – especially in indoor ranges, where the air is stagnant.
Ammo Inc.’s Hyperclean Technology helps a great deal to keep a revolver less fouled as a range session wears on. The Arizonan manufacturer’s non-corrosive primers, high quality brass cases, and balanced, nonmagnetic bullets are loaded to exacting specs to offer consistent recoil and accuracy with every shot.
